As I entered the passport control at the Israeli Ben Gurion airport I was taken aside by Israel police, I was escorted with my luggage to a side room where a special team proceeded in empting my bags and thoroughly searching every item for about three and a half hours after which I was told to sign a document saying that the States censorship officials have determined that the articles I have brought into the country do not in fact endanger the National security of the State of Israel. I was then ushered to a little side office where two un-uniformed men waited to speak with me. "Do you know who we are" they asked, "No, I have no idea" I answered although I did have a sick feeling that these guys might be some kind of reincarnation on the KGB. And indeed after their guessing game they admitted that they were agents of the Shabak Israel’s general security service. Then continued with their guessing game, "OK, now that you know who we are, why do you think that we came to speak with you?" I said that I really don’t care, I’m just coming back from a very long flight, have been delayed for three and a half hour while you fools search my bags and now you want to play games. Let’s get to the point and send me home to my wife and family. My interviewer introduced himself as “resh” the Hebrew letter “R” and proceeded in explaining to me that they came to warn me to be careful of what I say in my public appearances and writings. They said that with the new developing in Sharon’s polices they are concerned with my activities and statements. They are even more concerned with the popularity of my words among Jewish and non-Jewish groups in America. He also reminded me that they (the Shabak) had warned Rabbi Meir Kahane and Binyamin Kahane in the past,they did not listen to the warning(they are both dead now). Sometimes I can be a little thick in the head, I am not able to consider that these thugs are threatening me. After they made sure that they were very clear they asked me if I understand what they are saying and if I have any comment. I told them that I will continue doing exactly what I have been doing raising support for the Jewish presents in Yehuda, Shomron and Azza. Для того, чтобы сделать те выводы, к которым пытается привести автор письма, следует предположить, что рава Каханэ и его сына убил Шабак, что, как ясно, чушь. А то, что человек, дающий публичные антиарабские выступления находится в опасности, думаю очевидно. И пример Каханэ это доказывает. Предупредить такого человека в случае реальной опасности - рутинная работа спец. служб. Поэтому, на мой взгляд, то, что Вы привели в качестве заголовка темы, по меньшей мере, неверно. Такие предупреждения звучат слишком двусмыслено...
